It is located in the north west of the state with lots of older buildings and interesting things to see an do. We took the river cruise and say Sarah Island where the convicts were housed and did work. Look for some more information here:
I highly recommend taking the river cruise but book the captain's deck - it's worth every cent! :) I also included a picture of the cottage we stayed at while there [two nights]. When you travel on the Lady Jane Franklin II boat down the river I highly recommend that you pay the little bit extra and book the Captain's Deck. It's worth every cent.
